Unusual Applications for Downlights

Nicor’s very broad offering of downlights lends itself to successfully filling unusual downlight applications. The DLFv2 SureFit is a perfect example. It is a 2″ downlight, wet-location rated. At first glance, one would think that it is designed for bathrooms and showers. However, because it is designed to fit into a 4/0 junction box and is wet-location rated, the DLFv2 SureFit is used in many different applications including under-patio lighting, under-soffit lighting in front of a house or garage, closets, hallways, etc. With up to 720 lumens available, it can handle a surprising number of lighting applications.

Along with this, Nicor offers other downlights with remote drivers for new or retrofit applications with shallow ceiling depths.
