SliderBox for Non-Standard Wall Thickness
Allied Moulded manufactures the SliderBox product family for applications where the final outlet box depth is unknown at the time of outlet box installation. This depth is most often unknown due to uncertainty over materials for backsplash or other tile applications, but there can be other reasons for this need. The SliderBox allows the outlet box to be installed at standard depth and then, after the final depth is certain, be slightly loosened, repositioned and then re-tightened.
SliderBox comes in Single Gang through 4-Gang, vertical and horizontal. It is also available in 4″ round and there are varieties available for Floor Boxes.
