Cable Entry Made Easy – KDS Click
Hartland Southwest is the area representative for ContaClip Corporation. ContaClip has developed and manufactures the unique KDS Click cable entry product pictured to the right. KDS Click allows you to bring multiple cables, connectorized or not, into your enclosure in one convenient location with an IP66 rating. This is done through a 1-piece frame (4 sizes available), inlays to divide the frame into your unique pattern, and wave-cut seals (86 types to choose from) to get a perfect fit around the cable. Cables are entered into the enclosure from inside out; 1.) the proper seal is chosen for the cable, 2.) the cable (connectorized or not) is inserted into the seal through the wave-cut slit in the seal, 3.) the seal is inserted into the appropriate spot in the inlay and pushed to the outside frame. Repeat for all cables. If you need to change a cable, merely push that seal towards the inside of the enclosure, replace the cable and re-insert the seal into the inlay.
