Fiberglass Outlet Boxes

Our vendor, Allied Moulded Products, is the Contractor’s Choice for electrical outlet boxes.   Their Fiberglass box for wall and ceiling installation is considered a “hard” box, a desirable feature for many professional electrical contractors.

The Allied Moulded Fiberglass box benefits the contractor in many ways.  First, in U300 common walls, the Allied Moulded fiberglass box can be installed in the same wall cavity with at least 3″ horizontal seperation, no putty pad needed.  Second, it is a hard box so that it is rigid and is not affected by extremes of heat and cold.  Third, the knockouts are closed but do not require a tool to install the wire – just push the wire through.  Finally, the patented K Speed clamps secure the wire in the box and seal the box if a knockout is unintentionally pushed through.   All of these features add up to labor savings and cost savings for the contractor.
